With its high dunes and clear water, the wide sandy beach is a true Mecca for water lovers and sand castle ent­hu­si­asts. Not far from the beach, you will find Tornby Klit­plan­ta­ge (dune plan­ta­tion), today a protected area where you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce scenic sur­ro­un­dings with rich wildlife and flora as well as several historic at­tra­ctions.

In the most northerly part of Northern Jutland, you will find the cosy holiday town of Hulsig. You will quickly discover that Hulsig is sur­ro­un­ded by specta­cu­lar nature. As a matter of fact, you will pra­cti­cal­ly find it in your back garden. Natural phenomena such as Råbjerg Mile – the largest shifting dune in the Nordic countries – and the luxuriant Skagen Klit­plan­ta­ge are just a short drive from the small holiday town. From Hulsig, you will also have direct access to a number of the beautiful beaches in Northern Jutland. You can enjoy the calm water and wide beaches by Kattegat or jump into the wild waves of the North Sea for thrills and exci­te­ment.

The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in pi­c­tu­resque sur­ro­un­dings without anyone bothering you. Boderne is the closest neighbour, and nearby you will also find towns such as Aakirkeby and Rønne. Treat yourself to local food ex­pe­ri­en­ces and spe­ci­a­li­ties when visiting wonderful Bornholm.
