Near Mid­del­fart, you have the small village of Føns. The locals know Føns as the natural gem of western Funen. And not unju­sti­fied. Here you are gu­a­ran­te­ed forests and green scenery, a rich bird life and the most wonderful beach right outside your cottage door. Spend your holiday home break in the tranqui­li­ty of the forest under the forest canopy in Ulvshale Skov. This lush, dense area is untouched, with only the paths cleared for hiking. This means that nature and wildlife are wild and secluded, so you might get lucky and see rare birds and other animals, or ex­pe­ri­en­ce wild orchids and specta­cu­lar coastal en­viron­ments close by. A stone’s throw away is Ulvshale Strand, one of Møn’s best beaches. The cosy little island of Nyord is just off the coast and is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit, while Møns Klint is not far.

The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in pi­c­tu­resque sur­ro­un­dings without anyone bothering you. Boderne is the closest neighbour, and nearby you will also find towns such as Aakirkeby and Rønne. Treat yourself to local food ex­pe­ri­en­ces and spe­ci­a­li­ties when visiting wonderful Bornholm.

In Bukkemose, you can look forward to a range of unique nature and outdoor ex­pe­ri­en­ces. Bukkemose Strand is known for its low tides and fa­sci­nat­ing seabed making the beach an at­tra­ction for sea ent­hu­si­asts looking to go un­derwa­ter hunting. And if birds singing above are more your thing, you will find several bird towers in the area for you to explore Danish birdlife.
