Spend your holiday home break in scenic Vrist, a stone’s throw from the North Sea and close to idyllic lakes, streams and fjords. Pøt Strandby is a holiday home area on the east coast of Jutland with views of Kattegat. The area offers the most beautiful beach with white sand and calm, shallow waters and lush forest areas. With its fine swimming con­di­tions, the beach is extremely child-friendly and perfect for playing in the water, clamshell hunting as well as making sand castles under clear blue skies. You can also explore local wildlife in the area’s many forest areas with both bicycling and hiking trails. Pøt Strandby is located close to Ju­els­min­de and Horsens, where you will find several different shopping op­portu­ni­ties, cosy cafes and cultural at­tra­ctions.

Bjerge Beach is a holiday home area on the west coast of Zealand with views of the Great Belt. The area is known for its two beaches, which are extremely popular and a gathering point for locals and ho­li­day­ma­kers. Col­loqui­al­ly, the beaches are known as the South and North Beaches and both offer plenty of water play, sun­bat­hing and water sports. The area around Bjerge Beach is also rich in nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces. For example, just 10 km away you will find Denmark’s fourth largest lake, Tissø. Sur­ro­un­ded by protected nature, the lake draws several different species of birds. Visit the ob­ser­va­tion tower near the lake and ex­pe­ri­en­ce birdlife up close.
