Fyn & øer_Ærø_Marstal

Marstal

Marstal is the largest town on Ærø with a proud maritime history which is why the town is also known as “Skipper Town” colloquially. This sense of pride particularly manifests itself in the local town life. The harbour is a well-known gathering place for townspeople and holidaymakers, and the maritime museum is one of the major attractions in the area. Here you can delve into the maritime history of the town and enjoy exhibitions on the shipping trade. The town centre features a lovely shopping street and here you can shop to your heart’s content and sample local delicacies. And a mere stone’s throw from Marstal, you will find Eriks Hale Strand overlooking some of the colourful beach huts on the island.
Hyggekrog ved stranden ved Sejerø Bugt - Lyngområderne

Sejerø Bugt

With several child-friendly sandy beaches stretching from Vig Lyng to Stenstrup Lyng, and exciting excursions, Sejerø Bugt is known to be a true gem for families with children. Dive into history by visiting the megalithic tomb in Stenstrup, a well-preserved tomb from ancient times, or explore the unique sand reefs of the Korevler, where you might see grazing Galloway cattle. The area also offers wonderful music experiences and local eateries, especially during the summer months. For a complete festival experience, plan to visit during the Vig Festival in July.
Kvie Sø

Kvie Sø

Take an idyllic holiday home break at Kvie Sø, a hidden gem where lush forests, soft meadows and cosy swimming areas form the perfect setting. Let the beautiful lake be the focal point of your holiday, and use it for canoeing, picnics in nature, cosy walks and days with swimming and relaxation. Various routes have been built around the lake as well as playgrounds, jetties and lovely beach areas, where you can enjoy life and jump in the clear waters. Finally, stop by Pandekagehuset and enjoy all sorts of pancakes, which is their specialty.
Sydøstjylland_Als_Gråsten

Gråsten

Gråsten is a true gem in Southern Jutland with charming culture that blends Danish and German traditions. The heart of the city, Gråsten Castle, Queen Margrethe II’s summer residence, sits beautifully on the Slotssøen lake and offers insights into royal history. The city is also perfect for excursions to Germany and other culture and shopping experiences. Experience Gråsten’s unique atmosphere, where history and nature go hand in hand, making it an ideal destination for your summer break in a holiday home.
