On the east-facing side of Rømø is cosy Lakolk, which is the oldest holiday home area on the island. Reersø is a small seaport on the peninsula of the same name, located on Northwest Zealand. The small seaport is charming and idyllic. Here you will find one half-timbered house after another along the town’s country roads. The houses are very well preserved, and several of them date back to the 1600s. In addition to the historic charm of the town, you can also explore the lush natural sur­ro­un­dings in these parts of Zealand. Along the coast, you can enjoy the view of the Great Belt, and try your luck with a fishing rod. Reersø is less than a 30-minute drive from Ka­lund­borg.

Slet­te­strand gives you rugged nature at the North Sea. Here there is no denying the amazing wide sandy beach, known for its excellent beach bathing and this is why it has been awarded the Blue Flag. The area is espe­ci­al­ly known for its pre­ser­va­tion of the old Danish fishing tradition.
