Løgstør, the city of mussels, with its tranqui­li­ty and natural beauty, offers a unique maritime at­mosp­he­re and is the centre of cultural hig­hlights such as KanalJazz, which brings music, festi­vi­ties and community to the harbour. Famous for its mussels, the city is host to The Harvest of Mussels Festival and the Mussels Festival, which kick-start this year’s festi­vi­ties. You can also try out a seal safari from Livø­fer­gen, relax on the car-free island of Livø, or if you want to shop, visit Løgstør, which is a short 10-minute drive from the holiday homes at Lendrup and Rønbjerg. The area is also a mecca for golfers with many golf courses within a short distance.

South of Aarhus you will find the holiday home area, Mariendal Strand. Near the area is the beach, which is sur­ro­un­ded by natural sur­ro­un­dings and has a cosy fire pit. Here you can enjoy views of Aarhus Bay while roasting mars­h­mal­lows over an open fire with your feet planted in the fine sand. If you like biking, you can cycle towards Aarhus to the forests of Moesgaard and Mar­se­lis­borg, which stretch all the way down to the coast. And when visiting this area, you might want to visit the Moesgaard Museum, which has several exhi­bi­tions of ar­cha­e­o­lo­gi­cal finds, including the Grauballe Man, who - probably - is the world’s most well-preserved bog body.

In southern Møn you will find Hårbølle Strand. A family-friendly seaside town that provides for endless days on the beach playing games, swimming and sun­bat­hing. If you like quiet walks, relaxing seaside strolls will make you forget about the world and soak up the rich scenery and birdlife. Visit the harbour, which has an authentic fishing at­mosp­he­re with yachts and fishing boats of all sizes and colours. The quaint harbour en­viron­ment is buzzing with life and is a natural gathering place for the whole family. Buy freshly caught fish for the grill and other local produce to take back for supper.
