Tårup Strand is a summer land area on the eastern coast of Funen, sur­ro­un­ded by a hillscape and over­look­ing the clear water of the Great Belt. Here you can take walks along the coast, enjoy the views and the fresh sea air and – if you are lucky – spot ships om their journey through the Great Belt. You will see that the beach in the area changes character the further up the coast you go. The first part of the beach consists of a stone bed and it has a bathing jetty while 1 km further up the coast, you are met by a fine sandy beach offering the op­portu­ni­ty to play in the water and sunbathe. Take a long swim in the blue sea or laze in the sun all day long. The choice is yours.

Beautiful Sandvig is located on the northern coast of Bornholm—a perfect oasis for a summer break in a holiday home. Visit the town’s small, cosy harbour, the beautiful promenade along the water, and the charming urban setting. Sandvig and Allinge have more or less grown into one, and each year the two coastal towns’ squares, wharfs, and pubs host the island’s jazz festival. The area also offers hi­sto­ri­cal at­tra­ctions, including Ham­mers­hus, which is close by. The area around Hammeren, with clear lakes, dramatic rocky landsca­pes, and dizzying heights, is fantastic and full of adventure.

Ertebølle is known for its hi­sto­ri­cal sig­ni­fi­can­ce and bre­ath­taking nature. The area offers a fa­sci­nat­ing look at the history of hunter-gatherers during the Stone Age. Visit the im­pres­si­ve Stone Age Centre Ertebølle where you can immerse yourself into the lives of ancient Stone Age people, who lived 7,000 years ago, through in­te­r­a­cti­ve ex­pe­ri­en­ces such as hunting, sailing and fl­int­k­nap­ping for Ertebølle Hoved, a unique cliff with layers of volcanic ash, is a testament to the di­stin­cti­ve ge­o­lo­gi­cal features of the area. The cliff offers excellent op­portu­ni­ties to find fossils and un­der­stand why this place is so special that it has become a candidate for the UNESCO World Heritage List.
