A beautiful old church overlooks the rooftops of Gudhjem and the ships’ masts. From here, you can see the island of Chri­sti­an­sø in the distance, which you can explore if you hop on the tour boat that departs from the wharf.

Skallerup Klit is a true natural gem located at the im­pres­si­ve and roaring North Sea. From the marked hiking trails and cycling tracks in the area, you can explore the sur­ro­un­ding dune plan­ta­tions, forests and coast­li­nes. And you will realise that there is a reason why the area is cha­ra­cte­ri­sed as being one of the natural gems in Denmark. The wide beach at Skallerup Klit is something com­ple­te­ly unique. Sur­ro­un­ded by white dunes and the sound of roaring waves, the Blue Flag is proudly flapping on the beach. And this means that here you will find the perfect setting for sun­bat­hing, splashing in the water and water sports.

In the most northerly part of Northern Jutland, you will find the cosy holiday town of Hulsig. You will quickly discover that Hulsig is sur­ro­un­ded by specta­cu­lar nature. Natural phenomena such as Råbjerg Mile – the largest shifting dune in the Nordic countries – and the luxuriant Skagen Klit­plan­ta­ge are just a short drive from the small holiday town.
