Col­loqui­al­ly, Saltum is known as the “Alps of Jam­mer­bug­ten” and not without reason! In the beautiful landscape of Northern Funen, you have the summer land area of Tørresø where you can enjoy life on the finest sandy beach stret­ching along the coast. You can also ex­pe­ri­en­ce the natural green sur­ro­un­dings with rolling hillsca­pes, open fields and small woodlands. Explore the area, watch the birds and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the amazing flora that changes from season to season. Just outside of Tørresø, you will find Otterup featuring a range of shops and eateries. And in the summer, you can even enjoy the weekly markets where you can buy local produce and de­li­ca­cies.

Hasle is located on the west coast with a large harbour. The harbour buzzes with life, perfect for strolls along the pier. The town’s smo­ke­hou­se is next to the harbour. This is not just any smo­ke­hou­se but the last one left on Bornholm, where the smoking takes place in the tra­di­tio­nal, old-fashioned way using alder firewood in open chimneys. In the centre of Hasle, you will find a cultural house where you can see exhi­bi­tions, local arts and crafts, and more. Hasle also offers lovely beaches, an activity park, good play­gro­unds, re­stau­rants, cafés, and some of the island’s most beautiful sunsets.
