Tårup Strand is a summer land area on the eastern coast of Funen, sur­ro­un­ded by a hillscape and over­look­ing the clear water of the Great Belt. Here you can take walks along the coast, enjoy the views and the fresh sea air and – if you are lucky – spot ships om their journey through the Great Belt. You will see that the beach in the area changes character the further up the coast you go. The first part of the beach consists of a stone bed and it has a bathing jetty while 1 km further up the coast, you are met by a fine sandy beach offering the op­portu­ni­ty to play in the water and sunbathe. Take a long swim in the blue sea or laze in the sun all day long. The choice is yours.

The area around Ulfborg and Vemb offers a wonderful mix of nature, art, culture, history and more. Visit local artists and artisans, explore the area’s historic buildings, take advantage of the many bike and mo­un­tain­bi­ke routes, or visit the area’s local museum and learn about life in the region throug­hout history. Let the water and beaches be the focal point of your holiday, with both the roaring North Sea and the idyllic Nissum Fjord a stone’s throw away. Finally, there is ample op­portu­ni­ty for local culinary ex­pe­ri­en­ces in the small spe­ci­a­li­ty shops and the cosy eateries.
