Gågaden i Fredericia

Fredericia

North of Kolding, where the Little Belt narrows and bridges connect Jutland and Funen, you will find Fredericia. A historic hub with plenty of cultural offerings. The city’s signature attraction, Fredericia Rampart, is among Europe’s largest preserved fortresses and offers fascinating city walks that bring the city’s military history to life. Go whale watching on the Little Belt or visit the Madsbyparken park with the family – a free excursion spot with lots of fun and play. In the city centre a lively pedestrian street awaits with shopping options ranging from local specialities to international shops.

Mosebølle Strand

In Mosebølle, north of Præstø Fjord, a holiday home awaits in scenic surroundings with lots of peace and quiet for contemplation. With the fjord and the Faxe Bay nearby, you are surrounded by water and cosy nooks – perfect for outings on foot or by bike. You will find a wealth of scenic routes to explore the landscape and reveal beautiful views. Faxe Kalkbrud is close by, and with its fascinating colours and shapes it is definitely worth a visit. The area also has old churches, estates, manors and historic half-timbered houses, which give it a lively atmosphere.

Balka

Balka is located in a small bay on the south coast of Bornholm and is known for its beach. The water is calm, the sand is white, and the curved coastline forms the most beautiful oasis. Immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings for a few hours and forget the rest of the world. You can explore the area on foot or by bike. Charming Snogebæk is south of Balka, with shops, eateries, a smokehouse, and a cosy harbour setting. Heading north, you’ll encounter one of the island’s towns, Nexø, where you’ll find historic buildings, museums, cultural landmarks, local arts and crafts, and more.
Sydvestsjælland_Vestsjælland_Sejerø

Sejerø

Sejerø is a 12 km long island in Kattegat. The island is known as Kattegat’s sunshine island – and for good reason. Sejerø is one of the sunniest places in Denmark. Here you can experience the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the shoreline. The nature of the island is diverse and offers everything from beautiful sandy beaches and wide-open spaces to rolling hills and fields. Sejerø is especially known for its many burial mounds that date back to the Bronze Age. A total of 30 burial mounds have been discovered on the island, and you can experience them via several footpaths that take you around the landscape.
