Ho

Ho

Being blessed with phenomenal plant and wildlife has earned the vast marsh and tidal area around Ho Bay a designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Heading into the bay you will find Ho Village, a true North Sea pearl where you can create your dream holiday with relaxation, nature experiences, activities and great food. You can play golf in stunning scenery, experience nature on horseback or glide through the landscape in a canoe or kayak. You can also indulge in local culture in the city’s artisan workshops or stop by the inn for a delicious dining experience in a lively setting.

Tranderup

In the middle of Ærø, you will find the village of Tranderup. Tranderup is a charming little village oozing tranquility and rural bliss. Here you can see well-preserved old houses and farms and enjoy the views of open, green countryside inviting you on long walks. Tranderup is located on the main road between Søby and Marstal – the northern and southern ends of Ærø. Located in the middle of the island, Tranderup is near all the attractions of Ærø. So you can experience the diversity of the island from coast to coast, explore the nearby towns and beautiful sandy beaches.
Kvie Sø

Kvie Sø

Take an idyllic holiday home break at Kvie Sø, a hidden gem where lush forests, soft meadows and cosy swimming areas form the perfect setting. Let the beautiful lake be the focal point of your holiday, and use it for canoeing, picnics in nature, cosy walks and days with swimming and relaxation. Various routes have been built around the lake as well as playgrounds, jetties and lovely beach areas, where you can enjoy life and jump in the clear waters. Finally, stop by Pandekagehuset and enjoy all sorts of pancakes, which is their specialty.
Nordjylland_Jammerbugten_Thorup Strand

Thorup Strand

In Thorup Strand, you can experience true Danish coastal culture and an authentic fishing environment. The town is the proud home to around 20 active fishing boats that are hauled onto the beach every day. Fishing is a big part of the heart and soul of the town and it manifests itself in many ways. For example, you will find various eateries in the area serving dishes made from freshly caught seafood from the local fishing boats. You can also explore the local markets in the town and here you can buy fish directly from the fishermen themselves to do some cooking on your own. Thorup Strand as a holiday destination lets you experience the best that coastal life in Denmark has to offer.
