Rønne is the first town you come to when you arrive on lovely Bornholm. Beautiful St Nicholas Church is ma­jesti­cal­ly located in a pro­tr­u­ding square upon entry to the harbour, welcoming visitors. The town centre is cha­ra­cte­ri­sed by narrow cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, and cosy squares. It offers a rich com­merci­al and cultural life, and you will find historic buildings, museums, local arts and crafts, galleries, and more. There is ample op­portu­ni­ty to explore the island’s excellent beaches in all di­rections. Head south to visit Boderne or wonderful Dueodde—one of Denmark’s best beaches.

In the middle of the Eastern Funen, you will find the small town of Marslev oozing genuine village bliss. The area is sur­ro­un­ded by luxuriant fields, small forests and open co­un­trysi­de. In Marslev, you can delve into the charm of the small local community, explore the nearby establis­hed nature trails or visit the historic churches in the area. For example, you can visit the village church in the town dating back to the Middle Ages and known for its many ar­chi­tec­tu­ral details. The me­tro­po­lis on Funen, Odense, is just under 10 km away so you have all the at­tra­ctions of the city within reach.

In Mosebølle, north of Præstø Fjord, a holiday home awaits in scenic sur­ro­un­dings with lots of peace and quiet for con­tem­p­la­tion. With the fjord and the Faxe Bay nearby, you are sur­ro­un­ded by water and cosy nooks – perfect for outings on foot or by bike. You will find a wealth of scenic routes to explore the landscape and reveal beautiful views. Faxe Kalkbrud is close by, and with its fa­sci­nat­ing colours and shapes it is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit. The area also has old churches, estates, manors and historic half-timbered houses, which give it a lively at­mosp­he­re.

The beach town of Stampen is located south of Bornholm’s “capital”. A summer break in a holiday home here is packed with options. Stay in scenic sur­ro­un­dings by a lovely beach where you can splash in the water, relax with a good book, go for long walks, and whatever else you want. At the same time, the town of Rønne with art, culture, and history is nearby. Here, you will also find shops, galleries, eateries, bars, and much more. Rønne Harbour offers a wealth of different water sports for ad­ven­tu­rers to try. There is also a golf club nearby, so there is ample op­portu­ni­ty for an active holiday.
