Visit the town’s small, cosy harbour, the beautiful promenade along the water, and the charming urban setting. Sandvig and Allinge have more or less grown into one, and each year the two coastal towns’ squares, wharfs, and pubs host the island’s jazz festival. The area also offers hi­sto­ri­cal at­tra­ctions, including Ham­mers­hus, which is close by. The area around Hammeren, with clear lakes, dramatic rocky landsca­pes, and dizzying heights, is fantastic and full of adventure.
