A little north of the Rømø Dam, lies cosy Bolilmark. In this small village, there is also ample op­portu­ni­ty to go hiking outdoors. And if you are into bird watching, Føns is the perfect holiday desti­na­tion as you will find several bird species all in one place. Føns is known for its excellent beach at Føns Vig. Here you will find a sand bed and shallow water – and of course, the beach is a Blue Flag beach.

With Husby Klit­plan­ta­ge as a neighbour and the North Sea and Nissum Fjord a stone’s throw away, Sønder Fjand is the perfect base for a holiday home break in scenic sur­ro­un­dings. There are plenty of good hiking and cycling routes weaving their way through the fa­sci­nat­ing landscape, as well as pine forests, dune landsca­pes, heaths and meadows. You can also cast your fishing line and enjoy a quiet day of fishing on the banks of the fjord to the sound of the birds chirping. Finally, if you love the water, there is ample op­portu­ni­ty to try out different water sports or enjoy the wide, mile-long sandy beaches.
