Fyn & øer_Sydfyn_Helnæs

Helnæs

Helnæs is a genuine little gem in the South Funen Archipelago. The peninsula is connected to the mainland via a natural dam and it is close to both the port town of Assens and the market town of Faaborg. When driving across the dam to the small peninsula, you will feel embraced by the outstanding nature. This is where you will find Brobakkerne, a large embankment formed back in the Ice Age and in summer, it is covered with the finest summer flowers. You can also experience the spectacular nature from the water. Jump in a kayak and explore the Little Belt.
Gniben og Havnebyen ved Sjællands Odde

Sjællands Odde

In Sjællands Odde you will find unique nature and an authentic harbour environment. Take a trip to Odden Harbour, where the air is full of the smell of freshly smoked fish from the iconic smokehouse designed by Arne Jacobsen, while enjoying the sight of fishing boats and fresh fish. Organic farm shops offer local delicacies, while Ørnberg Vin creates award-winning white wines. Enjoy a stroll on the pier to feel refreshed by the sea spray and see yachts, or take a bike ride out to Gniben to experience pristine nature and military history. Also remember to visit Brøns Odde, a shipwreck from 1948, which is about 80 metres from the coast.
Fyn & øer_Ærø_Dunkær

Dunkær

On the southern part of Ærø, you will find the small village of Dunkær. Here you can experience quiet nature and real rural bliss. The small winding roads are lined by homely cottages side by side, adorning the countryside. And in the town, you will also find Dunkær Mill that bear witness to the history of the village and the active agriculture of former times. Just 4 km from the village, you have Risemark Strand on the southern coast of Ærø for you to enjoy a sandy beach and lapping waves. The beach is extremely child-friendly with its shallow water and it should be noted that the beach has a designated area for naturists.
Bornholm_Rønne_Arnager

Arnager

The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in picturesque surroundings without anyone bothering you. Boderne is the closest neighbour, and nearby you will also find towns such as Aakirkeby and Rønne. Treat yourself to local food experiences and specialities when visiting wonderful Bornholm.
