The charming summer resort of Skagen is known for its famous painters among other things. A cultural legacy which the town residents are in­cre­di­bly proud of and cherish. Agersø is an island in the Great Belt just 15 minutes by boat from Stigsnæs Harbour located on southwest Zealand. Despite its small size of just 6.84 km2, the island offers stunning nature and a rich wildlife. You can go for long walks – in fact, you can walk all the way around the island – and enjoy the tranquil­li­ty of the green sur­ro­un­dings. Only the sound of waves can interrupt your thoughts. The island holds in­te­r­e­sting tales, including its role in the English Wars from 1807 to 1814. Explore the island’s historic landmarks and see its many monuments and memorials.

In the middle of the specta­cu­lar nature of Northern Jutland, you will find the town of Lod­sko­vvad. Lod­sko­vvad offers beautiful natural sur­ro­un­dings with dune plan­ta­tions, forests and open landsca­pes. Go hiking in nature, explore the rolling terrain and let yourself be ent­hral­led by the wonders of nature. The town has a par­ti­cu­lar­ly at­tra­cti­ve location on the map. With Kattegat on one side and Skagerrak on the other, you can enjoy the calm waters of Kattegat on the beach one day while the next day, you can go on adventure in the large waves of the North Sea. On the east-facing side of Rømø is cosy Lakolk, which is the oldest holiday home area on the island. Here you will find an at­mosp­he­ric urban en­viron­ment with cafes, shops, galleries and much more. Settle down in one of the eateries for a taste of Rømø or visit one of the specialty shops where you can buy local de­li­ca­cies. Lakolk is located close to Rømø Bilstrand, where you can take the car all the way down to the water's edge. This way, you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the entire mile-long coastline, in­cre­dib­le plains and beautiful views. Finally, the area is ideal for biking – and hiking, or you can explore it on horseback or surfboard.
