Centrally located on Langeland, you will find the charming village Tranekær – a place with a lot of history. On the northern coast of the Kattegat lies cosy Vejby. Trol­de­sko­ven, Tisvilde Hegn, He­at­her­hill and Asserbo Plantage are just some of the beautiful natural areas nearby. Here you can find plenty of excellent cycling and hiking routes. In addition to Vejby Beach, you have Tisvilde Beach, Liseleje Beach and Rågeleje Beach close by, and the cosy towns also offer plenty of eateries, shops and pubs.

A village at­mosp­he­re and the bliss of Southern Funen is probably what make Faldsled famous and no wonder. In the cobbled streets and alleys of the town, you can see well-preserved half-timbered houses that bear witness of the days before the dawn of time. And this little village is hiding a genuine ga­stro­no­mic gem. This is home to the famous gourmet re­stau­rant, Falsled Kro. The small village is sur­ro­un­ded by open co­un­trysi­de and rolling fields as far as the eye can see. Explore the many scenic routes of the area winding through the co­un­trysi­de and along the coast and get close to the nature of Southern Funen.
