The nature in the area is something quite unique, with its steep sho­re­li­nes, dense beech forests and open coves. These sur­ro­un­dings are an in­vi­ta­tion to long walks, expl­ora­tion on a bicycle as well as relaxing and tranquil fishing. From Vejlby Fed, you can drive to Mid­del­fart in under 20 minutes. Go on an excursion to the historic town, featuring old well-preserved buildings, local shops, art galleries and a number of cafés and eateries.

Spend your summer break in a holiday home in the seaport of Tejn with its maritime at­mosp­he­re featuring a large harbour with active fishing, a boatyard, and cutters of all colours and sizes. Tejn is home to artists and other creative souls, so there are plenty of local creations to explore, such as ceramics and paintings, in addition to local food ex­pe­ri­en­ces. There are several historic churches and buildings nearby, including one of the island’s famous round churches. Tejn is not far from Ham­mers­hus and the stunning natural en­viron­ment around Ham­mer­knu­den, which is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit.
