Saksild Strand is a popular holiday home area just outside the town of Saksild. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well-known for its beautiful beach of the same name. Indeed, the beach is actually referred to as one of East Jutland’s best beaches. Here there is white sand and calm waters without large waves and un­dercur­rents. And of course, the beach has also been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for such fine swimming con­di­tions. In and around the holiday home area you will find several good eateries and a nearby ice cream house known for its great ice cream. From Saksild Strand you have a 20-minute drive to Aarhus, while you can get to Odder in 10 minutes.

Between Roskilde Fjord, Arresø and the Kattegat is Evetofte. A cosy oasis where you can design the holiday of your dreams. The idyllic and scenic area around Arresø offers plenty of hiking and cycling routes, and Arresø Canal takes you directly to the alluring landscape of Roskilde Fjord. Close to Evetofte are museums, galleries and several of North Zealand’s beautiful castles, where you can immerse yourself in the treasures of the past. In the sur­ro­un­ding towns you will also find a wide range of shops, eateries, cosy harbour en­viron­ments and lovely beaches.

Bønnerup Strand is a small fishing village on Djursland and a popular holiday desti­na­tion. Here you will find a wide sandy beach with shallow waters - ideal for water sports for the ad­ven­tu­rous, and clamshell hunting for the young ones. Among the locals, the beach is actually known as Djursland’s best, and of course it is also Blue Flag-certified. In the sum­mer­ti­me, the town’s harbour is a well-known gathering place for locals and the area’s many ho­li­day­ma­kers, and there are acti­vi­ties for both young and old. At the harbour you will also find local shops and eateries.
