Here you will also find heaths and areas covered in heather, and many good hiking and cycling paths that weave their way through this varied landscape. At the end of the plan­ta­tion, where the forest thins and the dunes begin, you will find the lovely Liseleje Beach. This part of the beach is secluded and peaceful. The town of Liseleje is also a stone’s throw away, with cosy eateries, shops and urban life.

In Fåborg, you can enjoy eve­ryt­hing good from Southern Funen. A central location means that you can explore the sur­ro­un­ding natural scenery, enjoy life on the beach or stop up and take in the specta­cu­lar views of South Funen Ar­chipela­go. Fåborg one of the oldest market towns in Denmark and the historic charm and bliss also manifest them­sel­ves in the streets and alleys of the town centre. Here you will find old churches and historic buildings, dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, adorning the street scene. From Fåborg Harbour, a small ferry makes it possible for you to visit the many islands of Southern Funen, little pearls off the coast.
