Explore the region via the Gen­darmstien trail, which is a 74 km long trail that runs along Flensborg Fjord from Padborg to Als, rich in nature and history and where Danish gendarmes once patrolled. The area around Broager also offers beautiful nature parks and panoramas, where you can enjoy the view of Flensborg Fjord and so much more.

Between the wildness of the North Sea and the calm waters of Ring­kø­bing Fjord, lies Haurvig. A gem for nature lovers that offers peace and quiet for con­tem­p­la­tion, immersion and re­flection. There are plenty of small nooks where you can fish un­dis­tur­bed, hidden jetties where you can relax and shut out the world, and lots of lovely trails through dunes, heaths and meadows. Tåsinge is located in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go and is connected to Funen via Svend­borgs­und­bro­en (Svendborg Sound Bridge). On Tåsinge, you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Southern Funen, seaviews and luxuriant woodlands where the trails guide you on your expl­ora­tions of the wildlife and flora of the area. On the southern part of Tåsinge, you have the summer land area of Stenodden. Here times appear to stand still and the quietude is only in­ter­rup­ted by the croaking of the European fire-bellied toads in the distance. Near Stenodden, you will find an extremely child-friendly beach with shallow, calm water. The beach has plenty of room for splashing around in the water, re­laxa­tion as well as canoeing and kayaking all day long.
