Følle Strand is a charming holiday area on Djursland near Kalø Vig. Here you can enjoy life on the south-facing sandy beach with its shallow waters. Næs and Skaverup are located below Avnø Fjord. Two scenic gems side by side at the water’s edge with stunning views up through the fjord. You can also explore the area from the water, for example in a kayak, or see it all from above if you climb the im­pres­si­ve Gåsetårn (Goose Tower). North of Fre­de­riks­havn, you will find the holiday resort of Bratten. Here you will be close to green sur­ro­un­dings and wonderful beaches. You will be better off exploring the area on a bicycle or on foot to find the many hidden trails leading to idyllic natural resorts. Get up close and personal with nature, listen to the buzzing of insects and explore the beautiful flora. Near Bratten, you will find the port town of Strandby where you can see the charming harbour en­viron­ment unfold right in front of you. And with Fre­de­riks­havn just 10 km away, you also have great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, in­te­r­e­sting cultural at­tra­ctions and cosy eateries right at your fin­ger­tips.
