Helnæs is a genuine little gem in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go. The peninsula is connected to the mainland via a natural dam and it is close to both the port town of Assens and the market town of Faaborg. When driving across the dam to the small peninsula, you will feel embraced by the out­stan­ding nature. This is where you will find Bro­bak­ker­ne, a large em­bank­ment formed back in the Ice Age and in summer, it is covered with the finest summer flowers. You can also ex­pe­ri­en­ce the specta­cu­lar nature from the water. Jump in a kayak and explore the Little Belt.

Agger is a holiday paradise for those loving nature and the active holiday. The area provides you with ample op­portu­ni­ties to go hiking, jump on your bicycle or enjoy some time birdwat­ching. And you can study the bird life from the peninsula of Agger Tange. Agger Tange is also your place if you have a need for speed on water. The peninsula is a popular haven for wind and kite surfers alike. Last but not least, do not miss a visit – or two – to the town of Agger where you will find various local eateries serving fresh and tasty fish dishes.

Røsnæs is a 5 km long peninsula located on the west coast of Zealand. It is sur­ro­un­ded by fa­sci­nat­ing landsca­pes of open coasts, rolling hilltops and dense forests. You can hike the coastal paths, enjoy the sea views and explore nearby forest areas. Don’t forget to visit Røsnæs Ligh­t­hou­se for panoramic views of land and water. You can also learn more about the history of the area on this small peninsula. Stop by the old, well-preserved mill, Ulstrup Mill, or discover Røsnæs Church, which is located on a hilltop over­look­ing Ka­lund­borg Fjord.

Havnsø is a seaport on Northwest Zealand. Here you can enjoy life on the beach, which, with its low water, is perfect for water play for people of all ages. Just under 5 km from Havnsø you will find the protected natural area of Eskebjerg Ve­ster­lyng. Known as Zealand’s largest heath, the natural area offers rolling landsca­pes with beaches, dunes and shrubs – and, with any luck, you might also see free-range cattle and horses. From Havnsø you can also enjoy the view of Nekselø Bay, and if you look carefully, you can see Nekselø and Sejerø in the distance. Both islands can be reached by ferry from Havnsø.
