Storebæltskysten

The Great Belt Coast has one of Denmark’s most beautiful coastlines. From north to south, you will find lovely beaches with fine sandy seafloors and clear water. There are no large waves or undercurrents, making it safe for even the youngest holidaymakers to play by the water under supervision. The area attracts many water sports enthusiasts, as there is ample opportunity to explore on the water. Along the coast you will find several hiking trails where you can enjoy the views and the fresh sea breeze. You can also take a break at one of the area’s conveniently located cafés and enjoy a well-deserved refreshment.
Sdr. Fjand

Sdr. Fjand

With Husby Klitplantage as a neighbour and the North Sea and Nissum Fjord a stone’s throw away, Sønder Fjand is the perfect base for a holiday home break in scenic surroundings. There are plenty of good hiking and cycling routes weaving their way through the fascinating landscape, as well as pine forests, dune landscapes, heaths and meadows. You can also cast your fishing line and enjoy a quiet day of fishing on the banks of the fjord to the sound of the birds chirping. Finally, if you love the water, there is ample opportunity to try out different water sports or enjoy the wide, mile-long sandy beaches.

Strøby Ladeplads

Strøby Ladeplads invites you to a holiday home break in calm surroundings close to lovely beaches. The town is home to a quaint marina where you can stroll to the sound of lapping waves and the bells atop the boat masts. A short drive away is beautiful Stevns Klint, where you can spend hours exploring the chalk-white rock walls and incredible nature. Visit the old charming trading town of Køge, if you want to add some history and culture to your holiday home break, and also the capital, Copenhagen, and the cathedral town of Roskilde are within an hour’s drive and are both worth a visit.

Marstal

Marstal is the largest town on Ærø with a proud maritime history which is why the town is also known as “Skipper Town” colloquially. This sense of pride particularly manifests itself in the local town life. The harbour is a well-known gathering place for townspeople and holidaymakers, and the maritime museum is one of the major attractions in the area. Here you can delve into the maritime history of the town and enjoy exhibitions on the shipping trade. The town centre features a lovely shopping street and here you can shop to your heart’s content and sample local delicacies. And a mere stone’s throw from Marstal, you will find Eriks Hale Strand overlooking some of the colourful beach huts on the island.
