Tåsinge is located in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go and is connected to Funen via Svend­borgs­und­bro­en (Svendborg Sound Bridge). On Tåsinge, you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Southern Funen, seaviews and luxuriant woodlands where the trails guide you on your expl­ora­tions of the wildlife and flora of the area. On the southern part of Tåsinge, you have the summer land area of Stenodden. Here times appear to stand still and the quietude is only in­ter­rup­ted by the croaking of the European fire-bellied toads in the distance. Near Stenodden, you will find an extremely child-friendly beach with shallow, calm water. Situated next to the narrow sound between Westim­mer­land and Salling, Hvalpsund offers a wonderful maritime at­mosp­he­re and many excellent ex­pe­ri­en­ces. As a sum­mer­ti­me at­tra­ction with its beach and acti­vi­ties by the fjord, the town is a favourite desti­na­tion for any beach lover. Situated on the Louns Peninsula, Hvalpsund is a haven for nature lovers. The area is rich in excellent cycling and hiking routes and is worth a visit for all holiday home guests for whom re­laxa­tion and tranqui­li­ty are a priority.

A stone’s throw from Denmark’s sout­her­n­most point sits Gedesby, which offers authentic village vibes and idyllic scenery. In and around the town you will find beautiful old houses, thatched farm­hou­ses and cosy green landsca­pes. The church, which dates back to the 1300s, is nestled in the centre of the town sur­ro­un­ded by the quaint main street and beautiful old mill. The area plays an important role in Denmark’s history so there is a lot of local folklore and tales to explore. The nature here is fantastic, with plan­ta­tions, hiking trails and forests – and not least Gedesby Beach, which stretches as far as the eye can see.
