South of Aarhus you will find the holiday home area, Mariendal Strand. Near the area is the beach, which is sur­ro­un­ded by natural sur­ro­un­dings and has a cosy fire pit. Here you can enjoy views of Aarhus Bay while roasting mars­h­mal­lows over an open fire with your feet planted in the fine sand. If you like biking, you can cycle towards Aarhus to the forests of Moesgaard and Mar­se­lis­borg, which stretch all the way down to the coast. And when visiting this area, you might want to visit the Moesgaard Museum, which has several exhi­bi­tions of ar­cha­e­o­lo­gi­cal finds, including the Grauballe Man, who - probably - is the world’s most well-preserved bog body.

Here you can buy fresh fish, try out various local de­li­ca­cies and enjoy musical en­tertain­ment right in the middle of the pier. Around Norsminde you will find several natural areas with establis­hed paths and trails that you can explore on foot or by bike. In these sur­ro­un­dings, you can enjoy a quiet moment over­look­ing the water.

On the east coast of Bornholm, you will find beautiful Vang. Admire stunning sunsets in calm, idyllic sur­ro­un­dings. The north coast of the island is cha­ra­cte­ri­sed by dramatic, rocky landsca­pes and beautiful views—Vang is no exception. There is a clear maritime at­mosp­he­re in the cosy, old fishing village. Built from local granite and large boulders, the pier is part of the pi­c­tu­resque setting and invites a stroll between the boat masts. Close to Vang are several historic landmarks, such as Ham­mers­hus and Jons Kapel, and you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce some of the island’s most fa­sci­nat­ing rock for­ma­tions.
