Helnæs is a genuine little gem in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go. The peninsula is connected to the mainland via a natural dam and it is close to both the port town of Assens and the market town of Faaborg. This is where you will find Bro­bak­ker­ne, a large em­bank­ment formed back in the Ice Age and in summer, it is covered with the finest summer flowers. Also make sure to visit Melby Overdrev, which with its open heaths, purple heather fields and in­cre­dib­le expanses offers lots of ad­ven­tu­res and hours of fun. Liseleje Beach is also just a stone’s throw away, and this part of the beach is won­der­ful­ly peaceful. Here you can spend hours swimming in the quiet waters, playing games on the beach, reading good books and enjoying beautiful sunsets. You can also head into the town of Liseleje, where you will find cosy eateries, ice cream stalls, shops and so much more.

At Mols, you are sur­ro­un­ded by mag­ni­fi­cent nature as far as the eye can see. Don’t miss out on hiking around Mols Bjerge National Park, which takes you through a landscape of heath, lush forests, marshes and a stretch of hills that reaches up to 137 metres above sea level. Mols’ coastline is equally im­pres­si­ve with beautiful beaches that are perfect for re­laxa­tion and various water sports on the clear waters. It is also on Mols’ coastline that you will find excellent op­portu­ni­ties for fishing. So bring your fishing rod and hope for the best.
