Tranekær

Centrally located on Langeland, you will find the charming village Tranekær – a place with a lot of history. Tranekær is especially famous for Tranekær Castle and the castle park, TICKON – Tranekær International Centre for Art and Nature where you can see works of art build from organic materials. The castle park is worth a visit regardless the time of year. The charming village is surrounded by forests and coastlines, the perfect invitation to go cycling and hiking. Here you can explore the wildlife and flora of the area. While out, you may come across Tranekær Castle Mill that bear witness to the rich history of the area and the agricultural traditions of Langeland.

Sose

Spend your summer break in a holiday home in Sose, an oasis on the sunshine island. Cliffs rise majestically from the water, forming a dramatic coastline adorned with charming red fishers’ houses. Sose Odde is on a small tongue stretching into the water with steep cliffs and wild natural surroundings. The picturesque landscape is great for long walks. Whether you choose to walk on the beach or on top of the cliffs, the expansive views are breathtaking. The cosy, old fishing village of Arnager is close by and worth a visit. The village has a great maritime atmosphere and beautiful sunsets.
Nordjylland_Kattegat_Lyngså

Lyngså

Lyngså is a historic agro-town dating back to the 14th century. The small agro-town has just under 300 citizens and it oozes tranquility, rural bliss and a sense that everybody knows everybody. You will quickly sense the historic heart and soul with the main street fringed by the many farms of the town. Farms that back in the day served to form the original borders of the town. As a result, you will experience a piece of Danish history up close – and even become a part of it – when choosing Lyngså as your next holiday destination. In addition to its rich history, the small agro-town features green surroundings and the loveliest white beach.
Familie bader ved Tornby Strand

Tornby Strand

Whether you prefer an active holiday, relaxation or explorations, you will have it all here at Tornby Strand. With its high dunes and clear water, the wide sandy beach is a true Mecca for water lovers and sand castle enthusiasts. And with its excellent wind conditions, the beach also offers the ideal setting for windsurfing, kite flying and other water sports activities with the open sea as your playground. Not far from the beach, you will find Tornby Klitplantage (dune plantation), today a protected area where you can experience scenic surroundings with rich wildlife and flora as well as several historic attractions.
