On Northern Funen, you will find the summer land area of Hasmark. Hasmark is a par­ti­cu­lar­ly popular holiday area due to its close proximity to Hasmark Strand, known as one of the best beaches on Funen. Hop on your bicycle and explore the area where you will find fields, small woodlands and pleasant nearby villages, each with their own history. From Hasmark, you can also head to Ene­bærod­de peninsula featuring beautiful nature and fa­sci­nat­ing bird life.

The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in pi­c­tu­resque sur­ro­un­dings without anyone bothering you. Boderne is the closest neighbour, and nearby you will also find towns such as Aakirkeby and Rønne. Treat yourself to local food ex­pe­ri­en­ces and spe­ci­a­li­ties when visiting wonderful Bornholm.

In Sjællands Odde you will find unique nature and an authentic harbour en­viron­ment. Take a trip to Odden Harbour, where the air is full of the smell of freshly smoked fish from the iconic smo­ke­hou­se designed by Arne Jacobsen, while enjoying the sight of fishing boats and fresh fish. Organic farm shops offer local de­li­ca­cies, while Ørnberg Vin creates award-winning white wines. Enjoy a stroll on the pier to feel refreshed by the sea spray and see yachts, or take a bike ride out to Gniben to ex­pe­ri­en­ce pristine nature and military history. Also remember to visit Brøns Odde, a shipwreck from 1948, which is about 80 metres from the coast.
