Nordjylland_Kattegat_Lyngså

Lyngså

Lyngså is a historic agro-town dating back to the 14th century. The small agro-town has just under 300 citizens and it oozes tranquility, rural bliss and a sense that everybody knows everybody. You will quickly sense the historic heart and soul with the main street fringed by the many farms of the town. Farms that back in the day served to form the original borders of the town. As a result, you will experience a piece of Danish history up close – and even become a part of it – when choosing Lyngså as your next holiday destination. In addition to its rich history, the small agro-town features green surroundings and the loveliest white beach.

Balka

Balka is located in a small bay on the south coast of Bornholm and is known for its beach. The water is calm, the sand is white, and the curved coastline forms the most beautiful oasis. Immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings for a few hours and forget the rest of the world. You can explore the area on foot or by bike. Charming Snogebæk is south of Balka, with shops, eateries, a smokehouse, and a cosy harbour setting. Heading north, you’ll encounter one of the island’s towns, Nexø, where you’ll find historic buildings, museums, cultural landmarks, local arts and crafts, and more.
Thorsminde

Thorsminde

On one of the outermost edges of Denmark lies charming Thorsminde. With the roaring North Sea on one side and the calm Nissum Fjord on the other, this is an ideal spot for a wonderful holiday home break. The quaint fishing village offers extraordinary nature, and its unique location allows you to experience the sunset over the sea and sunrise over the fjord. You can also explore the incredible dune landscapes and the diverse nature around the fjord. Finally, at the Strandingsmuseum, you can delve into the history and culture of the area, including the proud fishing traditions and a wealth of stories.

Nyborg

On Eastern Funen, you will find the old, charming market town of Nyborg. Nyborg oozes ancient history with its impressive medieval castle, Nyborg Castle, which was established back in the 13th century. The castle adorns the townscape and is the backdrop for several social events taking place in the town, especially in the summer. Here you can experience the Medieval Festival and a wide range of musicals and theatre performances, among other things. Near the town centre, you will find Nyborg Strand, a popular beach with fine sand and clear water. The beach is a true attraction for the locals and holidaymakers alike.
