If you enjoy lush natural scenery and beautiful beaches, southern Als is worth a visit. Southern Als offers plenty of scenic nature areas. You can visit the Kegnæs peninsula, which is connected to Als via a spit of land. In summer, you can enjoy the view from the top of Kegnæs Ligh­t­hou­se (Kegnæs Fyr) – and if the weather is clear, you can see all the way to Germany and the South Funen ar­chipela­go.

Take an idyllic holiday home break at Kvie Sø, a hidden gem where lush forests, soft meadows and cosy swimming areas form the perfect setting. Let the beautiful lake be the focal point of your holiday, and use it for canoeing, picnics in nature, cosy walks and days with swimming and re­laxa­tion. Various routes have been built around the lake as well as play­gro­unds, jetties and lovely beach areas, where you can enjoy life and jump in the clear waters. Finally, stop by Pan­de­ka­ge­hu­set and enjoy all sorts of pancakes, which is their specialty.

Tårup Strand is a summer land area on the eastern coast of Funen, sur­ro­un­ded by a hillscape and over­look­ing the clear water of the Great Belt. Here you can take walks along the coast, enjoy the views and the fresh sea air and – if you are lucky – spot ships om their journey through the Great Belt. You will see that the beach in the area changes character the further up the coast you go. The first part of the beach consists of a stone bed and it has a bathing jetty while 1 km further up the coast, you are met by a fine sandy beach offering the op­portu­ni­ty to play in the water and sunbathe. Take a long swim in the blue sea or laze in the sun all day long. The choice is yours.
