Spend your holiday in the tranquil forest with the chirping of songbirds and the scent of conifers. Enjoy walks in Asserbo Plan­ta­tion, where the trees stand tall and proud and create an amazing at­mosp­he­re. Here you will also find heaths and areas covered in heather, and many good hiking and cycling paths that weave their way through this varied landscape. At the end of the plan­ta­tion, where the forest thins and the dunes begin, you will find the lovely Liseleje Beach. This part of the beach is secluded and peaceful. The town of Liseleje is also a stone’s throw away, with cosy eateries, shops and urban life.

On the northern coast of Djursland you will find the holiday town of Fjellerup Strand. Here you can enjoy life by the wide, child-friendly coastline with fine-grained sand and shallow waters. These sur­ro­un­dings are perfect for sun­bat­hing, play and re­laxa­tion. Near the small holiday town you will find Meilgaard Gods, which is among Denmark’s oldest manor houses. Admire the stunning old castle building and visit the adjacent castle park. The estate is sur­ro­un­ded by dense forest - Meilgaard Skov - where you can go hiking and biking and explore the natural sur­ro­un­dings. From Fjellerup Strand you have only 20 minutes by car to Djurs Som­mer­land amusement park.

Ker­te­min­de is a charming port town on Funen. Here you will find several wonderful beaches, idyllic scenery and a lovely town centre. In Ker­te­min­de, you can enjoy lots of great taste sen­sa­tions. Among other things, this is the place of the gourmet re­stau­rant Rudolf Mathies and in the summer, it is actually also to these parts that many people from Funen flock to get the best ice cream cone. Ker­te­min­de is also home to various at­tra­ctions for both children and adults. Visit the Johannes Larsen Museum and let yourself be ent­hral­led by beautiful works of art from Funen, or head to the Fjord & Bælt-centret to learn more about the wonderful world of the sea.

In Grærup, you will find yourself in the middle of nature, just a stone’s throw from the roaring tur­bu­len­ce of the North Sea. You can wander along pristine sandy beaches, climb deep dune plan­ta­tions and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the abundant local wildlife. Grærup Langsø is a paradise for anyone who loves hiking or enjoys birdwat­ching. The hiking trails wind through the diverse landscape and take you through forests and into open expanses. There are many beautiful views and plenty to explore. You will also find great cycling routes throug­hout the landscape, enticing you to an active holiday. For water lovers, there is also ample op­portu­ni­ty to try out different types of water sports.
