When ho­li­daying in a holiday home in Als Odde, you can explore the Danish nature on land and at sea. You can go for walks along the banks of the fjord, explore the forested trails or find your tranqui­li­ty in a kayak on the calm water. You will find all of this just outside your cottage door. If you want a break from the sur­ro­un­dings full of nature, you can spend some time delving into the history and cultural heritage of Northern Jutland. Near Als Odde and its environs, you will find various culture-hi­sto­ri­cal at­tra­ctions where you can learn about the history of Northern Jutland going all the way back to the Viking Age and up until today.

Havnsø is a seaport on Northwest Zealand. Here you can enjoy life on the beach, which, with its low water, is perfect for water play for people of all ages. Just under 5 km from Havnsø you will find the protected natural area of Eskebjerg Ve­ster­lyng. Known as Zealand’s largest heath, the natural area offers rolling landsca­pes with beaches, dunes and shrubs – and, with any luck, you might also see free-range cattle and horses. From Havnsø you can also enjoy the view of Nekselø Bay, and if you look carefully, you can see Nekselø and Sejerø in the distance. Both islands can be reached by ferry from Havnsø.

Hvidbjerg offers a wonderful beach ex­pe­ri­en­ce with its im­pres­si­ve ‘mountain’ of fine sand. The large sand dune, after which the area is named, is divided into the Big and Small Dune and offers an un­for­get­tab­le view of Trelde Næs’ forests and Vejle Fjord. After a day at the beach, local de­li­ca­cies await at the local café – or you can light up the barbecue at your holiday home. Hvidbjerg is perfectly located for family outings to at­tra­ctions like Legoland or Givskud Zoo, making it an ideal starting point for a family holiday filled with ex­pe­ri­en­ces and fun in Southeast Jutland.
