Faldsled

A village atmosphere and the bliss of Southern Funen is probably what make Faldsled famous and no wonder. In the cobbled streets and alleys of the town, you can see well-preserved half-timbered houses that bear witness of the days before the dawn of time. And this little village is hiding a genuine gastronomic gem. This is home to the famous gourmet restaurant, Falsled Kro. The small village is surrounded by open countryside and rolling fields as far as the eye can see. Explore the many scenic routes of the area winding through the countryside and along the coast and get close to the nature of Southern Funen.

Skåstrup Strand

The summer land area of Skårup Strand is located 8 km west of Bogense. From Skårup Strand, you can enjoy all the best of Funen coast. The beach is extremely family-friendly with calm, shallow water and fine sand. Here the youngest holiday guests can safely play at the water’s edge and build sandcastles of various sizes. The beach is also a popular spot for water sports enthusiasts as the calm water make it possible to jump up on the paddleboard or go kayaking. The area is close to Svendborg where you can explore historical attractions, charming shops and homely cafés.

Svendborg

Svendborg is known as the most beautiful market town of Southern Funen. Originally an old seafaring town, it offers a really special maritime atmosphere with seaviews and a harbour environment buzzing with life. The old seafaring town oozes historic charm. You experience the history of Southern Funen up close by paying the Latin Quarter, the oldest part of Svendborg, a visit. In the Latin Quarter, you can visit an abundance of stores and small local shops and sample local delicacies in the restaurants and cafés of the area. Svendborg town centre is also the hub of various musical events all year round, creating life in the streets to a degree.
Bornholm_Rønne_Arnager

Arnager

The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in picturesque surroundings without anyone bothering you. Boderne is the closest neighbour, and nearby you will also find towns such as Aakirkeby and Rønne. Treat yourself to local food experiences and specialities when visiting wonderful Bornholm.
