Just 15 km from Grenaa is the holiday area, Gjerrild Nord­s­trand. The beach has been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, and for good reason. Here you can enjoy the clear waters, fine sand and calm sur­ro­un­dings. Perfect for splashing, relaxing and playing. The area is close to the town of Gjerrild and the natural pheno­menon of Gjerrild Klint, which is a 35 metre high lime cliff. From here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the im­pres­si­ve views and, if you are into angling, you can try your luck with a fishing rod. In this area you will find several paths and trails that connect Gjerrild and Bønnerup. Put on your hiking shoes and explore nature.

Saksild Strand is a popular holiday home area just outside the town of Saksild. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well-known for its beautiful beach of the same name. Indeed, the beach is actually referred to as one of East Jutland’s best beaches. Here there is white sand and calm waters without large waves and un­dercur­rents. And of course, the beach has also been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for such fine swimming con­di­tions. In and around the holiday home area you will find several good eateries and a nearby ice cream house known for its great ice cream. From Saksild Strand you have a 20-minute drive to Aarhus, while you can get to Odder in 10 minutes.

Råbylille Strand is the perfect setting for a holiday home break, where nature, culture and history come together. The peaceful cottage area is close to Møns Klint and Kl­in­tesko­ven, where you can hike through unique landsca­pes and discover rare orchids in the protected zones. The area has many cultural treasures, such as castles, churches and manor houses, as well as scenic oases, lovely beaches and quaint harbour towns – don’t miss out on a trip to the cliff, just a few ki­lo­metres away. Møn also offers a wealth of local flavours and spe­ci­al­ties to enjoy after a long day full of adventure.
