Ka­lund­borg

Ka­lund­borg is a charming old market town by Ka­lund­borg Fjord. The town offers both Danish cultural history and natural sur­ro­un­dings. Explore the medieval history of the market town with a tour through the historic neig­h­bor­hood, Højbyen. Enjoy the bre­ath­taking 800-year-old church, par­ti­cu­lar­ly known for its five towers. You can also stop by Ka­lund­borg Museum and learn more about the history and cultural heritage of the area. The old town is sur­ro­un­ded by lush green nature where you can go hiking, biking or try your luck with a fishing rod by Ka­lund­borg Fjord.

Bak­kebøl­le Strand

In charming Bak­kebøl­le, a holiday home awaits in a quiet setting with plenty of authentic Danish village idyll. The open landscape with soft fields and lush meadows is ideal for lovely strolls and cycling trips, and you will also find pi­c­tu­resque beaches nearby. Visit Farø and Bogø and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the quaint island at­mosp­he­re, or go on an excursion to fantastic Møns Klint for a nature ex­pe­ri­en­ce unlike any other. Not far from Bak­kebøl­le is the old town of Vor­ding­borg, where plenty of hi­sto­ri­cal and cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces await, and a wealth of shops, bars, re­stau­rants and cafés.

Havnsø

Havnsø is a seaport on Northwest Zealand. Here you can enjoy life on the beach, which, with its low water, is perfect for water play for people of all ages. Just under 5 km from Havnsø you will find the protected natural area of Eskebjerg Ve­ster­lyng. Known as Zealand’s largest heath, the natural area offers rolling landsca­pes with beaches, dunes and shrubs – and, with any luck, you might also see free-range cattle and horses. From Havnsø you can also enjoy the view of Nekselø Bay, and if you look carefully, you can see Nekselø and Sejerø in the distance. Both islands can be reached by ferry from Havnsø.

Fåborg

In Fåborg, you can enjoy eve­ryt­hing good from Southern Funen. A central location means that you can explore the sur­ro­un­ding natural scenery, enjoy life on the beach or stop up and take in the specta­cu­lar views of South Funen Ar­chipela­go. Fåborg one of the oldest market towns in Denmark and the historic charm and bliss also manifest them­sel­ves in the streets and alleys of the town centre. Here you will find old churches and historic buildings, dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, adorning the street scene. From Fåborg Harbour, a small ferry makes it possible for you to visit the many islands of Southern Funen, little pearls off the coast.
