Ker­te­min­de is a charming port town on Funen. Here you will find several wonderful beaches, idyllic scenery and a lovely town centre. Among other things, this is the place of the gourmet re­stau­rant Rudolf Mathies and in the summer, it is actually also to these parts that many people from Funen flock to get the best ice cream cone. On the east-facing side of Rømø is cosy Lakolk, which is the oldest holiday home area on the island. Here you will find an at­mosp­he­ric urban en­viron­ment with cafes, shops, galleries and much more. Settle down in one of the eateries for a taste of Rømø or visit one of the specialty shops where you can buy local de­li­ca­cies. Lakolk is located close to Rømø Bilstrand, where you can take the car all the way down to the water's edge. This way, you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the entire mile-long coastline, in­cre­dib­le plains and beautiful views. Finally, the area is ideal for biking – and hiking, or you can explore it on horseback or surfboard.

Spend your holiday home break in scenic Vrist, a stone’s throw from the North Sea and close to idyllic lakes, streams and fjords. The terrain is varied and the nature diverse, and you will find many cosy nooks where you can enjoy the sunset un­dis­tur­bed. Hop on a bike or put on your hiking shoes and explore the area on land, or grab a surfboard, paddle board or kayak and have fun in the water.
