Near Kan­de­ste­der­ne, you will find the im­pres­si­ve natural pheno­menon Råbjerg Mile, among the largest shifting dunes in Europe which is why it draws Danish and foreign ho­li­day­ma­kers alike. The wide beach is sur­ro­un­ded by dunes and has been awarded the Blue Flag cer­ti­fi­ca­tion.

Take a walk along the water, ex­pe­ri­en­ce the marina and enjoy a meal at a local re­stau­rant. The Hejls­min­de Natursti trail offers fresh sea air and birdwat­ching, while the large Skam­lings­ban­ken hill provides mag­ni­fi­cent views.
