A stone’s throw from Denmark’s sout­her­n­most point sits Gedesby, which offers authentic village vibes and idyllic scenery. Built from local granite and large boulders, the pier is part of the pi­c­tu­resque setting and invites a stroll between the boat masts. Close to Vang are several historic landmarks, such as Ham­mers­hus and Jons Kapel, and you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce some of the island’s most fa­sci­nat­ing rock for­ma­tions.

Virksund by the Limfjord is full of charm with its maritime history and scenic sur­ro­un­dings. This former Viking sett­le­ment is perfect for modern ad­ven­tu­rers who can catch crab, enjoy the food at the harbour café, and/or swim in the clear, re­fres­hing waters. The area is rich in history and offers acti­vi­ties such as sailing in the protected fjord and fishing in both the fjord and the sur­ro­un­ding rivers.
