Just 15 km south of Aarhus you will find Ajstrup Strand, a natural holiday area near water and natural sur­ro­un­dings. The fine sandy beach in the area is a haven for ho­li­day­ma­kers and locals every summer. Here you will find fine sand, clear water and safe swimming. For these reasons, the beach has been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, which proudly sways in the wind. Close to the area is Norsminde Havn, an extremely charming marina where you can stroll along the pier, enjoy the sight of small fishing boats and visit one of the many cosy eateries. You can get from Ajstrup Strand to Odder in under 20 minutes by car.

Øster Hurup offers a genuine holiday at­mosp­he­re. Here you have a child-friendly beach with ample op­portu­ni­ties for splashing around in water and sports acti­vi­ties such as kayaking, paddling and sailing. And if that was not enough, the town also has a cosy harbour where you can eat lunch, get ice cream or just enjoy the view. Espe­ci­al­ly in the summer, the area is buzzing with life when the townspe­op­le and ho­li­day­ma­kers meet at various events in the cosy streets and alleys. Here you have musical bits and car rallies, among other things, on the agenda. From Øster Hurup, you are also within short distance of Aalborg and Aarhus and here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the buzzing city life.

On the east coast of Northern Jutland, you will find the village of Hel­ber­skov. The little village is espe­ci­al­ly charming due to its old half-timbered houses and idyllic village at­mosp­he­re. Tåsinge is located in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go and is connected to Funen via Svend­borgs­und­bro­en (Svendborg Sound Bridge). On Tåsinge, you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Southern Funen, seaviews and luxuriant woodlands where the trails guide you on your expl­ora­tions of the wildlife and flora of the area. On the southern part of Tåsinge, you have the summer land area of Stenodden. Here times appear to stand still and the quietude is only in­ter­rup­ted by the croaking of the European fire-bellied toads in the distance. Near Stenodden, you will find an extremely child-friendly beach with shallow, calm water. The beach has plenty of room for splashing around in the water, re­laxa­tion as well as canoeing and kayaking all day long.
