In the middle of Ærø, you will find the village of Tranderup. Tranderup is a charming little village oozing tranqui­li­ty and rural bliss. Tranderup is located on the main road between Søby and Marstal – the northern and southern ends of Ærø. Located in the middle of the island, Tranderup is near all the at­tra­ctions of Ærø. Just a stone’s throw from Løkken, you will find Furreby and from here, you have the most beautiful views of the roaring waves and dune landsca­pes of the North Sea. Along the coast, you can find a number of overgrown bunkers that bear witness to the hi­sto­ri­cal past of the area.
