Rødhus is a beautiful and quiet holiday area sur­ro­un­ded by the most beautiful dune landscape. On the east coast of Jutland with a view of Kattegat you will find the holiday home area, As Vig. Located at the very edge of Kattegat, As Vig offers several lovely beaches with fine sand and shallow and calm waters. Here you can take a dip in the waves, go kayaking or simply enjoy the views from the coast. It’s entirely up to you. You can also explore the many natural sur­ro­un­dings. Here you will find both forests and nature trails where you can go for long walks or ride a bicycle and ex­pe­ri­en­ce this beautiful part of Denmark. From As Vig, it is less than 10 km to the charming seaport of Ju­els­min­de.

Centrally located on Langeland, you will find the charming village Tranekær – a place with a lot of history. Tranekær is espe­ci­al­ly famous for Tranekær Castle and the castle park, TICKON – Tranekær In­ter­na­tio­nal Centre for Art and Nature where you can see works of art build from organic materials. The castle park is worth a visit re­gard­less the time of year. The charming village is sur­ro­un­ded by forests and coast­li­nes, the perfect in­vi­ta­tion to go cycling and hiking. Here you can explore the wildlife and flora of the area. While out, you may come across Tranekær Castle Mill that bear witness to the rich history of the area and the agri­cul­tu­ral tra­di­tions of Langeland.
