The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in pi­c­tu­resque sur­ro­un­dings without anyone bothering you. Boderne is the closest neighbour, and nearby you will also find towns such as Aakirkeby and Rønne. Treat yourself to local food ex­pe­ri­en­ces and spe­ci­a­li­ties when visiting wonderful Bornholm.

On the southern part of Ærø, you will find the small village of Dunkær. Here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce quiet nature and real rural bliss. The small winding roads are lined by homely cottages side by side, adorning the co­un­trysi­de. And in the town, you will also find Dunkær Mill that bear witness to the history of the village and the active agri­cul­tu­re of former times. Just 4 km from the village, you have Risemark Strand on the southern coast of Ærø for you to enjoy a sandy beach and lapping waves. The beach is extremely child-friendly with its shallow water and it should be noted that the beach has a de­sig­na­ted area for naturists.

Pøt Strandby is a holiday home area on the east coast of Jutland with views of Kattegat. The area offers the most beautiful beach with white sand and calm, shallow waters and lush forest areas. With its fine swimming con­di­tions, the beach is extremely child-friendly and perfect for playing in the water, clamshell hunting as well as making sand castles under clear blue skies. You can also explore local wildlife in the area’s many forest areas with both bicycling and hiking trails. Pøt Strandby is located close to Ju­els­min­de and Horsens, where you will find several different shopping op­portu­ni­ties, cosy cafes and cultural at­tra­ctions.

On the north coast, the landscape is dramatic, and the views are bre­ath­taking—Allinge is no exception. The town borders the fa­sci­nat­ing area around Hammeren, offering some of Denmark’s most specta­cu­lar natural en­viron­ments. Allinge harbour is a gathering point with a great at­mosp­he­re offering cafés, ice cream shops, eateries, and shops. The town is cha­ra­cte­ri­sed by half-timbered houses in every colour, narrow streets, and cosy squares. You can explore small, cosy oases. Allinge also offers art and culture in various forms and is home to venues, creative workshops, and the annual jazz festival.
