Just 15 km south of Aarhus you will find Ajstrup Strand, a natural holiday area near water and natural sur­ro­un­dings. Explore the medieval history of the market town with a tour through the historic neig­h­bor­hood, Højbyen. Enjoy the bre­ath­taking 800-year-old church, par­ti­cu­lar­ly known for its five towers. You can also stop by Ka­lund­borg Museum and learn more about the history and cultural heritage of the area. The old town is sur­ro­un­ded by lush green nature where you can go hiking, biking or try your luck with a fishing rod by Ka­lund­borg Fjord.

Sur­ro­un­ded by white dunes and the sound of roaring waves, the Blue Flag is proudly flapping on the beach. And this means that here you will find the perfect setting for sun­bat­hing, splashing in the water and water sports.
