Havnsø is a seaport on Northwest Zealand. Here you can enjoy life on the beach, which, with its low water, is perfect for water play for people of all ages. Just under 5 km from Havnsø you will find the protected natural area of Eskebjerg Ve­ster­lyng. Known as Zealand’s largest heath, the natural area offers rolling landsca­pes with beaches, dunes and shrubs – and, with any luck, you might also see free-range cattle and horses. From Havnsø you can also enjoy the view of Nekselø Bay, and if you look carefully, you can see Nekselø and Sejerø in the distance. Both islands can be reached by ferry from Havnsø.

In the town of Broager, beau­ti­ful­ly located between Gråsten and Søn­der­borg, idyllic holiday home areas such as Vem­m­ing­bund Beach and Brunsnæs await. These holiday home areas offer some of the most beautiful beaches in the region – perfect for sun­bat­hing, swimming and long walks along the water. Explore the region via the Gen­darmstien trail, which is a 74 km long trail that runs along Flensborg Fjord from Padborg to Als, rich in nature and history and where Danish gendarmes once patrolled. The area around Broager also offers beautiful nature parks and panoramas, where you can enjoy the view of Flensborg Fjord and so much more.
