When ho­li­daying in Skiveren, you will be surround by beautiful, protected nature and gorgeous co­un­trysi­de. The most beautiful beach in Northern Jutland, you will find just around the corner, and here you can enjoy the sun to the sound of the roaring waves while burying your feet in the fine white sand. Just a stone’s throw from Skiveren, you have Tversted Plantage (plan­ta­tion). Among other things, you will find three marked trails, a large natural play­gro­und, a lunch box house and a number of barbecue spots. Snogebæk is located on the southern coast of Bornholm with beautiful Balka Beach and Dueodde as its closest neig­h­bours—some of the island’s best beaches. The town has plenty to offer, including a smo­ke­hou­se where you can sit down and enjoy a meal or buy fresh produce to bring home. You can also visit the cosy shops, which sell local arts and crafts and de­li­ca­cies, or take a stroll along in the harbour to see colourful fishing boats. If you would like to visit a larger town, head north to Nexø. Nexø offers cultural and hi­sto­ri­cal sights, galleries, local arts and crafts, and much more.

On the northern coast of Djursland you will find the holiday town of Fjellerup Strand. Here you can enjoy life by the wide, child-friendly coastline with fine-grained sand and shallow waters. These sur­ro­un­dings are perfect for sun­bat­hing, play and re­laxa­tion. Near the small holiday town you will find Meilgaard Gods, which is among Denmark’s oldest manor houses. Admire the stunning old castle building and visit the adjacent castle park. The estate is sur­ro­un­ded by dense forest - Meilgaard Skov - where you can go hiking and biking and explore the natural sur­ro­un­dings. From Fjellerup Strand you have only 20 minutes by car to Djurs Som­mer­land amusement park.
