North of Ker­te­min­de, you have the Hindsholm peninsula with its coast­li­nes spora­di­cal­ly changing between sandy beaches and cliff ledges. Charming Snogebæk is south of Balka, with shops, eateries, a smo­ke­hou­se, and a cosy harbour setting. Heading north, you’ll encounter one of the island’s towns, Nexø, where you’ll find historic buildings, museums, cultural landmarks, local arts and crafts, and more.

Bring the family to Northern Als and ex­pe­ri­en­ce a holiday in scenic sur­ro­un­dings with hills, valleys and crystal-clear lakes created and shaped by the Ice Age. Plenty of child-friendly beaches await with the softest sand, perfect for play and re­laxa­tion.
