The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in pi­c­tu­resque sur­ro­un­dings without anyone bothering you. Don’t miss out on hiking around Mols Bjerge National Park, which takes you through a landscape of heath, lush forests, marshes and a stretch of hills that reaches up to 137 metres above sea level. Mols’ coastline is equally im­pres­si­ve with beautiful beaches that are perfect for re­laxa­tion and various water sports on the clear waters. It is also on Mols’ coastline that you will find excellent op­portu­ni­ties for fishing. So bring your fishing rod and hope for the best.

A stone’s throw from Denmark’s sout­her­n­most point sits Gedesby, which offers authentic village vibes and idyllic scenery. In and around the town you will find beautiful old houses, thatched farm­hou­ses and cosy green landsca­pes. The church, which dates back to the 1300s, is nestled in the centre of the town sur­ro­un­ded by the quaint main street and beautiful old mill. The area plays an important role in Denmark’s history so there is a lot of local folklore and tales to explore. The nature here is fantastic, with plan­ta­tions, hiking trails and forests – and not least Gedesby Beach, which stretches as far as the eye can see.
