Nordjylland_Kattegat_Hou

Hou

The charming port town of Hou is the perfect holiday destination for those looking for local experiences and surroundings full of nature. Among other things, you can visit the marina where pleasure boats and fishing boats help creating life and atmosphere. It is also from here that you can go on organised sails along the coast or grab the paddle yourself by hiring a kayak. If you want to take in the surroundings full of nature on land, you have various beautiful routes and trails at your disposal in the area to explore. And you decide whether it should be on a bicycle or on foot – or whether will be accompanied by your four-legged friend.
Limfjorden_Vesthimmerland_Hvalpsund

Hvalpsund

Situated next to the narrow sound between Westimmerland and Salling, Hvalpsund offers a wonderful maritime atmosphere and many excellent experiences. As a summertime attraction with its beach and activities by the fjord, the town is a favourite destination for any beach lover. Situated on the Louns Peninsula, Hvalpsund is a haven for nature lovers. The area is rich in excellent cycling and hiking routes and is worth a visit for all holiday home guests for whom relaxation and tranquility are a priority.
Bornholm_Rønne_Arnager

Arnager

The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in picturesque surroundings without anyone bothering you. Boderne is the closest neighbour, and nearby you will also find towns such as Aakirkeby and Rønne. Treat yourself to local food experiences and specialities when visiting wonderful Bornholm.
Nordjylland_Blokhus_Saltum

Saltum

Colloquially, Saltum is known as the “Alps of Jammerbugten” and not without reason! With the open spaces and luxuriant green fields, Saltum stands out from the other areas in the holiday landscape. If you are lucky, you may even see grazing animals on the hills – like a scene from All Creatures Great and Small. The town of Saltum is especially popular for its long-standing tradition of handmade arts and craft in textile and ceramics. So do not miss out on a visit to the local town artisan to find a unique and memorable souvenir to take home.
